The Michigan Regional Student Production Awards for excellence, which promotes best practices to university/college and high school students, is intended to be an incentive for the pursuit of excellence in television journalism and focus public attention on outstanding achievements in television produced by university/college and high school students.
Entries are judged by the Michigan Chapter’s Board of Governors and broadcast professionals. A crystal pillar is awarded to school for entries validated by a professor or teacher. Certificates will be awarded to all individuals named on the entry.
AND THE NOMINATION GOES TOO!
These are very challenging, stressful, and unprecedented times because of the COVID-19.
With so many closures being announced, the Michigan Student Production Awards Committee had to make the difficult, but necessary decision to postpone the scheduled ceremony for our upcoming Student Production Awards. The health and student nominees and their families, is our utmost concern.
We are reviewing innovative ways to honor this year’s Student Production Awards and a decision will be forthcoming and we will announce the new plans as soon as we can on our website and social media pages.
Stay Safe and Healthy!
