The Michigan Regional Student Production Awards for excellence, which promotes best practices to university/college and high school students, is intended to be an incentive for the pursuit of excellence in television journalism and focus public attention on outstanding achievements in television produced by university/college and high school students.
College and High School submission starts December 12, 2017
Deadline for Student Production Award entries is March 2, 2018.

5 High Schools Nominated for a National Student Production Award
Davison, Dearborn, Rockford, Royal Oak and Troy Athens High School have been recognized as National Student Production Award Nominees for their award winning entries in the 2017 Student Production Awards and now compete nationally for the same honor. The National Student Production Award Recipients will be announced October 3 at an awards ceremony at Emerson College in California. Read more here.
High school & college students are recipients of a NATAS – Michigan Regional Student Production Award. Schools and students may not use the Emmy® name or replica of the Emmy® statue in any form of school publications, commercial advertising and promotions. A photo of the Student Production Award may be used in promotions.
